Bearded dragon heat, UVB and feeding setup

Heat and UVB come before decor

Bearded dragons rely on the right basking zone, cool end and quality UVB exposure. Thermometers, thermostat control and lamp replacement plans are essential.

Warning: Weak UVB or poor basking temperatures can lead to serious health issues.

Match feeding to age

Younger dragons need a different balance of insects and greens than adults. Food size, supplementation and hydration should be planned together.

Helpful tip: Keep a simple feeding and supplement log so routines stay consistent.

Avoid unsafe shortcuts

Heat rocks, unsuitable loose substrates and cohabitation can create unnecessary welfare risks. A simple accurate setup is better than a decorative but unsafe one.
